Yes Dave, Some cracking pictures on these threads, Just spotted a Mesguen Scania 113M on the Roger Pickering page,
judging by the registration number, its from your neck of the woods. Kind Regards, Ray Smyth.

Hi Ray…very nostalgic black and white pic’s of those Traders…

Mesquen, still trading, Reefers and dry freight, mostly veg and fish, that motor, 29, would be running out of St Pol de leon probably with Artichokes.

Hi. Is this a " proper " Thames Trader or some other " beast " fitted with a trader cab ?
Regards. John.

Ellesmere Port photo…three sheeted loads, all very presentable and passable, especially the Trader artic’s effort.

I agree with “GF” very tidy R & S there ! I have , along with many of our motors ,loaded '000 of tons of Russian pulp at Ellesmere straight over the ships rail then there was no additional charges for handling. When there was a pulp boat in it was always a scramble to load as much as we could “ex ship”. Happy and interesting days. Cheers Bewick.

Now that looks like a similar shade of green to that of a former well known cattle haulier from Sebber ! Who’s name just escapes me ! ( Sedbergh to those not from the area!) Anon 1.
