Given that the vast majority of people can use their phones without wiping out busloads of kitten carrying nuns, maybe it’s time for an extension to the driving license. Just like an extra test proves you can drive with a trailer, maybe a different test to prove you can drive whilst using a phone. Most of general public cant do one thing at a time when driving so how they going to drive and use a phone

I’d take a retest to prove I can drive a 40 footer eating a meat n potato pie in one hand and an London A-Z in the other… done it for years! Lol and I’ve heard of old fellas rolling ■■■■ :smiley: :smiley: with one hand! :smiley: :smiley:

when i was taking lessons from ritchies in glasgow ( big rig day cab d series and a 20 foot flat) i was sitting at farmcross which is a 5 way junction watching an atki come hurtling through the lights with an alsation dog in the passenger seat and the driver holding his piece in 1 hand and a can of tea in the other.
i turned to the instructor and said…i want to be him next week, and that was that.
4 lessons and passed 1st time,then mad for tar…
