Why didn’t you get your toe down and pass him at 56? Or is your shed limited to 50 too■■?
4 mile tailback give you a clue.
The clues I get are that you exagerate a lot and are unable to comprehend the roadcraft in leaving a big gap between yourself and a slow moving vehicle that you arent able to pass this allows faster traffic to overtake without em being faced with the prospect of having to get by 2 large vehicles in one hit.
Oops my bad I notice from your sig your only class C (2), says it all …
Could you post your dramacam footage so we can have a look.
no surprises there its a class 2 driver, it always seems to be the class 2 guys that post up the most stupid threads asking stupid things or trying to make themselves look like there the best thing since sliced bread
they should train them all up to class 1 standard in my book, do away with class 2 it would teach them a lot more about how to read roads and situations instead of them just being glorified car drivers who sit up a bit high in a cab
they have nothing to do or worry about in there dinky toys other than try to get others on there dash cams it seems

One of our subbies is seeking legal advice about dash cams. He overtook a slow moving lorry in Tilbury dock, by going the wrong way around a roundabout. The slow movers driver went straight to the dock police, and they waited by his lorry the next morning with a ticket for careless driving
So he went the wrong way round a roundabout and now hes whinging about a dash cam being the evidence? While I dont get the self-policing mob who feel th need to report things,I think your subbie has a bit of a brass neck. Thats like getting caught doing 70 in a 30 zone and then lodging a defense of “Its not fair, the police car was sitting where I couldnt see it”
I agree he was in the wrong, but we’re not talking about being caught by the police or civil service. We’re talking about Paul Blart and his £15 eBay camera. If the ticket is upheld, it sets a dangerous president. The question is whether it’s immiscible evidence in court
OVLOV JAY:

I couldnt agree with you more there
I don’t know for sure but I don’t think it would be admissible in court as evidence the same as if they tap a phone line that can’t be used either.
Unless the law has been changed.

Aren’t roads on the docks classed as private land? If thats the case it wouldn’t be a criminal matter.
If they’re not classed as private land, then a slap on the wrist off the port authority is the least of his worries. Wrong way round a roundabout is dangerous driving.
Road traffic laws apply in all the areas with public access. Although plant is exempt, hence a 17 year old kid turned over a freightliner tug loaded with 2 30ton hazardous boxes and got away Scott free

i can see the the future of the dash cam in drivers hands, how long before there taking them into the office to snitch on a fellow work mate who might of done something wrong ? it used to be they would take in apples to the boss or just snitch on there work mates verbally. now there going to have hard proof someone picked there nose in the cab whilst driving.
Already happens at my place one individual thinks showing their footage to the boss is ok, this is the same driver who had to be rescued of a broken tail lift by the fire brigade and is currently off sick with “stress”
How did you know there was a 4 mile tail back?
Seriously how did you know that?,if you were at the back then you wouldn’t have known it was a tesco wagon unless you managed to get around I’d say 500 other vehicles to the front of the queue.
You should of dailed 999,the police would of sent out a chopper and police cars and deployed a stinger bursting all his stupid tyres that were only going round at 40mph,then surrounded his wagon that’s now side wards in a field and given him 5 seconds to exit his wagon with his digi tacho or they would unleash a fury of gun fire upon him for staying within the speed limit, how bloody dare him.
For the OP you will no doubt be hearing off the queen for your knighthood soon.
Not a surprise that the idiot who started this thread has gone quiet.
Lets face it he is the up your arse hero, underclass driver who is incapable of driving slower than the limit, the sort of bloke who locks his door at the first sign of confrontation and writes cheques his small demeanor can never cash.

My favourite post out of them all. PMSL
Keep them coming lads!!!
I love being only a class 2 driver.
A driver at our place will never gets anywhere near the speed limit no matter what the road conditions are like, He pulls away from lights on green and by the time the last axle on the trailer is goin through the lights are back to red. If I’m leaving the yard at the same time and we are heading to the same sort of area, I’ll go a different way, I drive to the conditions, if it’s safe to do 50 I’ll do it

I already tried that one with d&g after doing 64 on the A75( on the brakes) a few years ago…one a.m. in the crack in the ass of nowhere on the c/d bypass…sitting in a group and we all got done…didn’t see the sneaky policeman.i never went to court and told them to do as they saw fit.i gave them a visa number and told them to help themselves in the letter…( they don’t take visa ffs)…sent them a copy of my irish licence since points make prizes…£180 fine as the onus was on the slimebags to have stoped and arrested me(which they didn’t) as they assumed we were uk as we were all on uk plates coming off the boat…another vital contribution to road safety I don’t think.

That’s what everyone who’s spent 10 years on class 2 and still can’t pass the class 1 test says.
