Unusual maybe but you’ve got one here…

I blame it on a diet of coffee and ■■■■, 6’ 2” and fighting fit - with tatoos :unamused:

I know Simon but we do come in all shapes and sizes, often the bigger the truck…

I was entranced a while ago, a huge girder (120 foot ?) was being manoeuvred into a place I was at by one of those “heavy loader” thingies, had to watch this !!!

When it was done and dusted, plenty of photo’s been taken, the driver climbs down out of his cab… all 4 foot of him :wink:

I think the main question, or problem, is other peoples perception of those of us that have tattoos. Some people won’t give a zb what others think of them, while to some folk it does matter.

I have 7 tattoo’s on my back, upper arms and chest however none of them are below the elbow and are not usually visible when I am wearing a short sleeved shirt.

I have applied for a job before that asked if you had tattoos and requested that you send photo’s of them. I believe that they were checking for anything that could be deemed to be ‘offensive’.

There were a couple of my tattoos that I had gone-off as I got older and so I looked into the laser option; being expensive and much more painful than getting them (as if a hot irn had been rested on your skin, was one description I heard!!) I decided against the laser treatment. Instead I had the ones I didn’t like covered with some more-modern designs that hid them.

I do feel quite conscientious when I take the kids swimming and bump into some one from work; I always catch them looking twice and trying to hide their suprise as they obviously don’t think i’m ‘that kind of person’. :unamused:

Back to the original poll, I have ‘one or more tattoos’ and am just about winning the battle to keep the belly in check although it’s not easy (gym 3 times per week, 50 - 70 miles per week cycling [unless it’s raining then it’s onto the Concept 2 rowing machine]) and I always feel knackered!! :angry: :unamused: :blush: :confused:

I suppose we have all done stupid things when we were younger, but a tattoo is for life and not just for a drunken Saturday afternoon in the pub.

I had to take a second man on a trip to Europe on Ontime. Garry had got ■■■■■■ with his mates somewhere and had a ■■■■■■■■ tattoed on his hand. It doesnt go down very well in Germany, Spain or Italy and for 6 weeks he had his hand bandaged up so he didnt show his embarrassment :confused:

It also reminds me of the stupid pillock who thought it was funny to have Adolf flags and stickers in his window, he had his windows broken in Germany and nothing stolen :open_mouth:

ive no tatoos and a bit of a belly but not a big one 6 ft and 15 1/2 stone.

No tats & wouldn’t want any. Saw a guy the other day with the whole of his shaved head tattood. Urrrrgh!
Think a small one on girls is quite ■■■■, on shoulder blade or ■■■■ cheek.

5.9 14 1/2 st. Belly goes in & out dependant upon activity levels. Its out a bit at the mo, but hoping to go to Thailand again in Jan where it will hopefully decrease due to:

more walking, more sweating, :laughing: more swimming, less eating… you don’t have the appetite in a hot climate.

Due to my age - the waistline is now expanding, but not too bad (at the moment) I can still squeeze myself into 34" waist. I have a couple ot tattoos on each upper arm, which are not visible with short sleeves - and for all the wimps out there - they dont hurt when theyre done :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

i have got my back tattooed with an alien and a predator plus other stuff very tastefull plus my legs and arms have been done as well all of my tats have been carefully chosen and none are visible unless i want them to be but then again i am not botherd what people think of them :sunglasses: but when it comes to my belly well thats another question i was fit as a fiddle when i was in the army but i broke my back when i was in so when i was in rehab kind of put a few to 20 p[ounds on lol :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: but i is working on it /

Just going on what marcustandy, said about employers looking at you in a different manner.

My Sister has a boyfriend with tear drops under his eys in the form of tats.

Not a very nice sight, but a good lad who fell in the wrong crowd.

He can’t find a job though, Social said they would pay for the tats to be removed, but I think he likes them.
