On the cassette tacho, make sure you get the chart underthe 2 teeth at the top or it will chew the tacho to pieces! I know this through experience!

I,ve got a pic of the Volvo tacho (pop up) at work, i,ll post it on monday, took me 5 minutes to find the ■■■■ thing! I was cursing and panicking!!
Don’t have a photo of the volvo pop up, but the disc goes in trace side facing you, and operation is really simple, just twist the knobs on the dash by the key to the appropriate setting and job’s a good 'un. My current volvo doesn’t have one of these, but one of the cassette type mounted above your head with buttons rather than knobs.
