Tacho help required

Eyup there, I was just wondering if someone could help me out, if I finish at 5pm today could I reduce and set off at 2am if im not signed out of the WTD jobby, I was just thinking its only a 3 hour run to the yard so id only be working a max of say 4 hours after dieseling up etc so would be in the 10 hour rule for the night shift, and it would be a nnew 24 hr period? Just wondered if its allowed in the eyes of the law or its frowned upon and I should just wait till 4am instead.

Cheers,
Danny

None of the authorities, VOSA, Police, BAG, Gendarmerie, Etc. Are the least bit interested in the WTD.
Just crack on.

Yes.

Simple but effective, cheers, I thought as much but our compliance guy at the yard seems to like giving infringements out for it so just thought id ask some folk who know what there on about.

Cheers,
Danny

The 10 hour night rules is not for shift time but for the working time done within the shift

Taking a daily rest resets the 24 hour clock

You are allowed 3 reduced daily rests between weekly rests
