The grooming gangs for a start a and the legal systems inability to see what was happening including the CPS, the failure to raise charges against Jimmy Saville despite overwhelming evidence. Yep he’s definatly worth a knighthood oh yeah forgot he did some work for free so he must be good oh hang on didn’t Jimmy Saville also do a lot of charity work
As for his honour there are certain jobs that if you hold the post you get honoured regardless of your performance only one ex head of the CPS has not received a knighthood or Damehood so it would appear that the head of the CPS is one of those jobs where an honour is automatic.

Nah, come off it. What “overwhelming” evidence? In his lifetime I think two people went to the police and when the police interviewed Saville they were practically saying “Sorry Sir”. All the top police were pals with him - I remember a copper riding his bike came across Saville in his Rolls with an underage lass - cop asked “What are you doing” Jimmy said “Waiting for her 16th birthday, now hurry up and ■■■■ off”. When the copper asked his superior he was told “friends in high places”>

Friends in high places?

Not really an excuse…a Constable decides when to arrest etc

If you aren’t aware of Starmer’s failings at the CPS one wonders why you’re engaging in a political discussion.
It helps to come armed with the facts

The world is full of facts.
And full of rumour, conjecture, insinuation, and snide remarks too.
It would move any discussion along if you would be specific rather than say “the facts”.

Type in Starmer CPS scandals as a starting point on Google.

Less rumour and conjecture than events that occurred under his tenure as DPP

Very specific and forensic post…look at Google…

Edit. Silly insult removed.

No need for forensics on this one.

So this has went from a mail article to nonsense about Jimmy the dirty beast Saville. This thread should have ended ages ago

Nearly there again:

What has Starmer, Saville and Rayner’s pregnancy got in common who knows.

I had great hopes for Starmer,

You think that being ruled by Brussells and paying them money we can’t afford for the privilege of providing jobs for EU workers at the expense of our own and stitching up our pensioners ( and UC claimants ) to pay for it all is good for us.
Exactly what’s the supposed big difference between Boris and Starmer both Globalists with a penchant for the Collective in all its forms.

Did you just make that ■■■■■ up? You do realise freedom of movement for workers didn’t mean they all came here! Have you forgotten when UK unemployment reached 3 million in the early 80’s, long before the policy of free movement. The only people that stitch up our pensioners are our own government! The UK has one of the lowest state pensions in Europe, that is government policy, was never anything to do with the EU. This is the problem with this whole debacle surrounding what was our membership of the EU, there were so many lies told by so many people. Boris was never a committed Brexiteer anyway, he saw supporting Brexit as a ticket to leading his party and eventually becoming PM, even at the expense of ■■■■■■■■ in his own nest and shafting those around him.

Yep unemployment reached over 3m in the 1980’s and that’s why I lost my well paid driving job in the manufacturing industry to my German counterparts, like numerous others in the automotive industry and had to drive for the council.
We’d joined the EUSSR almost 10 years previously.
We have one of the lowest state pensions in Europe because Germany takes all the wealth with its net exports outweighing its net contribution, unlike us.
That’s why we were still a net EUSSR contributor while we were paying off an IMF bail out out of our oil export cash.
How do you equate less demand for labour and/or a higher labour supply with higher wages to pay for pensions.

What you on about. A constable decides who they arrest, not a higher rank.

Hows about the Constable’s name and the superior’s name, plus any more info ie date/place.
Don’t recall that snippet among the hundreds of claims about Savile that Anna Raccoon demolished after full investigation several years ago, but if the names of these officers is to hand i would like to check, she’s passed on but most of her work on this was saved.
