So you’re saying it’s OK to tailgate as long as you don’t crash?
Show me where i said it was alright to tailgate
and you’ll be 1 of them drivers who don’t do nothing wrong
of course you are.
Nope, I’m not perfect and I’m sometimes wrong. However, I dislike people tailgating and think that ‘Professional Drivers’ of whatever type or whatever they drive should not tailgate. But it happens. However, when it happens for mile upon mile with not enough gap to even get a car in there then that is wrong and should be addressed.

dilbert here again. the police were not interested and refused to take details from witnesses or even our names or addresses! i worked normally for 2 weeks then the company told me it could become a disciplinary matter. the firm has changed hands again and management and disciplinary procedure changes almost weekly with lots of drivers getting pulled in for minor things etc. thanks for all the comments and i will have to see what develops .
Just incase you are unaware a dismissal will automatically be ‘unfair’ if it is done incorrectly and the proper procedures are not followed even if the reason for the dismissal was just. Get ready for a long read on the ACAS website .
