Hes doing something good, give him a break, I mean why do NHS staff need hot meals brought into their place of work? They only work 12hrs, they have regular breaks and all the facilities to cook/reheat meals and they get to go home to a nice warm shower and bed, I have none of that in my 13/15 hour days, 5/6 days a week.

Wether day / night shift or tramping any self respecting driver should be taking food with them . Those of us tramping should have our own kettles and tea coffee for when having to pull up in lay-bys for the night and those on days / nights can get tea coffe when they get back home .
It nice to be thought of in these troubling times and as one who does not have a microwave in the cab a picnic is taken away but sometimes I would like hot food ( having said that I’m too tight to spend any money 
) . But you do get to know where food is good and where has decent toilets/ showers .

Well I’d quite happily help any driver genuinely in need. Always have, 'cos I’m “old school” and that’s what you do.
