When Poland went into transformation there was a trend to name companies to sound “european”. That was usually done by taking polish word and adding “-ex” at the end. So there were plenty of stupid companies like
“Mietex” (as company owner was Mieczysław and diminutive from that is Mietek)
“Grzybex” (I guess that must be from owners surname “grzyb” - a mushroom)
“Drewex” (Drewno = timber)
“Warzywex” (Warzywa - Vegetables)
I haven’t seen most of them for long time, maybe they aren’t any longer in business, or just changed the names. But some are doing good:

But most fun is that people naming companies with some really hard polish words and then trying to do international career - I would want to see one of you trying to pronounce Trans - Bieszczady (tanker company trans-bieszczady.pl/ ) or Bodzio - Goszcz (furniture)
