In Central Scotland its a bit breezey but nothing much. Some bits of trees lying around business as usual.

If you’re loaded , make sure the curtains and ratchets are tight. whilst driving be prepared for the buffeting especially when passing under bridges into an open area;
Make sure you are in control of the vehicle, might sound stupid but, both hands on the wheel . Complete control !
Failing that , if you feel like a complete snowflake, sorry only jesting, if not sure , park it up and call the transport office .
So yesterday driving a 16ft Asda taut down the M74 and over A66 was a nightmare then…
It weren’t great, but staying awake was more of a ■■■■■■■ on the way back.

Got some powdered milk and silver spoon sweeteners as well just to be on the safe side, I can’t drink black unsweetened tea.
Power went off just as they came back on the field for the second half of the Rugby yesterday, It came back on again about an hour and a half ago. So it was off to the cafe with the Mrs for breakfast this morning; except the first two we tried were closed, one because it is Monday, and the other because they had no power either.
So to the nitty gritty: A Big Big Thank You to the lads at UK Power Networks who climb trees armed with a chainsaw in the rain and the wind and the dark to set about reconnecting us all.
I came over woodhead pass about 7ish tonight.
And was surprised how many trucks were parked for the night on all the laybyes…
Even on the exposed ones over the top.
And am thinking why on earth put yourself.in danger.
Find a sheltered place.
Even in summer id never park up there never mind in this.
