Seriously, there are good and bad in many companies, including Stobarts. Stobbies gets a fair bit of stick because they are well known and like it or not, the pay isn’t great, the hours are fairly long (yes, I know some jobs are easy but work is work, whether you’re on the bunk or not) and they are a big company so can’t very easily go unnoticed.
Fair play to those that are happy with their lot there. Always a chance of stardom too on the telly…!!
(And no, I am not an ex employee with an axe to grind!)
Ha ha I know it’s not the tightest yard but as a new driver getting stared at by all the regular boys waiting for the slightest balls up gets you a bit of a sweat on still enjoyed it though and with my agency rate I make a nice 147 pounds a shift on a Sunday which is always nice
