Don’t you even dare patronise me by calling me a kid. Have some [zb] respect. I served 4 years in the cadets from the age of 13 so what have you done for your country? !
OK - I’m calling wah.
Nobody would actually say this. Especially to lorry drivers, where a high percentage have actually served in HMF (I don’t include cadets in this, lol).
come on, Joe, reveal your true identity.
Yeh, I’m with you bud, I reckon he’s had the lot of us over, especially me.
I reckon it’s Evil8beezle returned to take the ■■■■.
I must be slipping, I can usually spot wind ups asap, the Golden hi viz should have warned me, but ‘‘Serving his country’’ in The Cadets, was a step too far.
Yep best troll ever, even spent loads of time on the new drivers bit not mentioning Stobarts, if that is you UKtramp, I salute you Sir,
I did 5 years as a Cadet and 12 years as an Instructor. I reckon I must be due a medal at the very least, I mean some of the things I saw.

If he was for real though, what were we all thinking about, him going through sooo much in so little time, compared to our sheltered pampered and cosseted lives eh?
Respect The Goldhiviz ! I say.
I worry he’s real, but I bet he never knew the poverty I knew as a kid, even our Butler was poor.
Still catching up so missed loads but let me be the first to congratulate Joe on his fiancée’s pregnancy (fiancé is the masculine would mean your marrying a bloke, nowt wrong with that though.).
Got 4 myself (including a suspect ginger), so it’s hard work, enjoy the spotting till the little un takes up all your time.

As it turns out I’m 4’ 10", unfit 8 stone wet through, and as soft as [zb]…so lucky for both of us eh?
Had this image of you Rob as a ruffy tuffy butch macho trucker, bubbles burst now
Im only 5’ 8’’ but ffs…4’10’’ how the ■■■■ do you see over the steering wheel? And do you have blocks of wood on the pedals??
Where did I say serving in the cadets is equal to full military service? In the cadets we helped with things like flood relief etc. I’m not at all saying it’s comparable to full service, but I did serve my country with pride without any financial gain. Did we have guns? No.
As I keep saying. Anyone that has a problem with me feel free to send me a DM and we can arrange to meet up somewhere for a scrap.
Grumpy Dad:
they’ve even started pulling for Marshall’s,
Wrong. It is/was the other way round.
I can’t say anything, (And I DO know the names of the people involved.) but the top transport ops at Marshalls, were ex Stobarts, hence why the Marshalls lads used to do Tesco from around the beginning of December. Sadly something smelled a bit fishy, and Marshalls very senior hierachy launched an investigation into what was going off, and suffice to say certain people lost their jobs and funnily enough, some of them are back at Stobarts.
Doubtful you will see any red units at the front of green trailers this year.

Stick your life advice, I’ve been through more crap than anyone on these forums and I’ve risen through all of it. Reading these comments posted whilst I was sleeping really made me angry to a point where I punched my bedroom door in. I’ve never seen my fiancé look so upset and scared. This is what you lot are trying to do, ruin my life!! But I’m not going to let it happen. I’ll be leaving these forums for good!!!
I have read some ■■■■ in my time, but this guy is on another level.

Sorry lads, have to put an end to this before people think I’m being serious - I’m just having a giggle with you all
And there is the “ha ha lads, it was all a wind up” climb down. All the Billy big balls do it eventually when their ‘I will bounce your head of the pavement’ routine and casual mention of military service doesn’t get them the respectful response they expect.

I’m still laughing at the “stress relief measures”. Can’t say that a bit of banter from a forum full of hairy arsed lorry drivers has ever made me want to go and knock one out, but, each to their own and all that!
When the automated industrial revolution takes place and drivers are replaced by self drive vehicles, and Stobarts new Sci-fi based fleet takes to the roads, will the Stobart fan club be replaced by autonomous spotters

I’ll meet you for a scrap. Which depot are you?
I can help you out mate on the ID front Doesn’t matter if Joe isn’t wearing his golden ■■■■■■ vest, I managed to get a quick picture of him & his assessor at Appleton, in ESL’s new twin steer training wagon…

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet Andrew, …especially some of the ■■■■■■■■ that I come out with.
