Why do people watch this pish ?
Try watching Outback Truckers or some of the other Ozzie trucker channels on youtube.
Drivers in this country have a lot to moan about when ye see some of the stuff the have to take on down under.
stobarts lorries n trailers is tv for 12 year olds

As other have said in other threads… It’s entertainment. You obviously take it very seriously.

errrm …i dont watch it because as i said, it’s pish !
top gun on series one was enough for me .
My littleun loves it, i dont mind it…apart from that [zb] Mark Dixon, his silly ■■■■■■ myself girly annoying laugh goes through me, but the program is just light hearted easy to watch most of the time…its shined up for joe public as we all know this isnt reality but a massive advertising tool for Stobarts. id rather watch this than bleedin corrie and the other soaps that seem to dominate sad peoples lifes.
i think poor ole mark dixon is getting a bit fed up of the abuse aswell hehe, considering his comment of “now tell me i cant drive” after he got into the farm yard,
more power to the drivers i say for having the nerve to put up with the ■■■■ and camera stuck in his face all bloody day, i know i wouldnt be able to deal with it,
credit where its due. He found London and made it there. Keeping it in 1 lane on the M4 can be tricky with only a couple of dozen inches each side. He narrowly avoided disaster by not going over the line, across the hard shoulder and through the barrier and down the embankment. Phew!

I only watched the first five minutes last night due to other comitments.
However they were banging on about investing millions n new equipment.
Cue loads of loaded car transporters.
Do we get to see them being sold on aswell then?
Can you imagine being on a weeks training with Matt Edins boy he would do your head in. And as for the two boy racers on the Biomas very professional NOT!!!. I have just knocked the record arrow off enough is enough. Eddie,
Got to admit that I watched it, and agree its stupidly hyped up on stuff we all do day in day out. But as others have said its still better than the soap [zb] I think we need a better truck program on tv here in the uk what with all the channels we have like discovery ect…

I wouldn’t be surprised if that whole deal wasn’t about having something new for the telly series.

is this a starting rate because the last pay slip i had it was £8.67 p.h[nights],£15 per day meal allowance,£5 fuel bonus, day shift was £7.75 if i remember right, why are they paying bio-mass drivers less or is it because they get a % of what the truck earns[so one of the drivers told me] so its £7.45 +cut of what truck earns,i can believe there going to pay them less for doing that dirty job than a driver who drops a few cages off at a few shops, but then in the recent past ive heard rumours of nil hours contracts,no meal allowances,no fuel bonuses etc etc,you take it with a pinch of salt but, maybe there going to push it lower and lower until they cant get any/havent got any drivers left,£2 p.h more,id stay where i was too.
Agree with Hitch. Make the programme informative showing what and how an Anderson lead does like on IRT and less drama.
The producers are doing nothing to improve the image of the haulage industry.
Anyway, the biomass driver, Tim Fox passed me at Sandbach one morning chasing his mate and not six feet between them!
