Stobart property deal

EDDIE STOBART FAN:
It is probably a very good deal, Stobbies are spreading the risk a bit away from relying too much on logistics and transport.

It aint mate, trust me, they have been very naughty boys [my best "life of brian" voice], they got their fingers burnt, and, the "PLC" has bailed them out, im glad i`m not a shareholder

Is it me, but, Tink looks like a very dodgy geezer, I know he is successful, but he just looks dodgy IMO :unamused:

Yeah buying property for more than its worth and unlikely to ride in value in the next few years ■■■■■■■ genius Alan sugar would be proud lol

To be a successful business man nowadays you need to be a right ■■■■■■■ and be prepared to crap all over anyone who stands in your way. Tink fits the bill.

Tink and Stob are both very devout Methodists, like Edward was, men of god.

You seem a sad man which also rhymes with fan

The whole group is made up of unexplained twists and turns not unlike a 1960’s long firm. Why are the FSA and Police so interested in them? Surely not because they are simply spotters. Looking at the other members of the board, their profiles suggest they have handled many long term property deals and the banking sector are not known for their clarity are they?

Smoke and Mirrors, there is probably no smoke without fire.

They are buying something that is worth £98m and mortgaged to the tune of £86m (so only £12m equity) for £103million. How is that a good deal? And the debt on it has doubled whilst the Brothers Chuckle have owned it. How on Earth is that a good deal? You are not for real mate.

Good news I have heard that this deal has been completed successfully, well done to all involved especially Tink & Stobbie.

Lets all crack open the champagne bottles.
