I said “take it to Slough” not “Plough”

My butty Ron burgundy told me put the cruise control on, and it will drive it self!! :open_mouth:
Honest officer :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :unamused:

as most of the posts re stobs are stobarts in trouble ect, how about Stobarts in stubble

That’s one way to avoid a low bridge

Someone should kick him in the balls, then he will have a further two acres to deal with…

Daveyandbev:
Now that’s a driver outstanding in his field
Ok I’ll get my coat, taxi

Cream of the crop.

The health and safety bods will have a field day with this one.
Although he might get away with it unless someone decides to grass him in.
Still, it would have been a nice little field trip for him

Latest news;
“Stobart acquire Openfield…”

It’s probably part of the ground breaking ceremony for a new Stobart DC

He’s in for flax when he getting back, I bet he can barley believe what he’s done…

News just in… Stobart are branching out into combine harvesters.
I can just imagine them sat around the boardroom table singing “I’ve got a brand new harvester, and I’ll give you the key”…
Dunno how they’re gonna get combine onto the loading bay at a tesco extra with the back haul.

The bets are off that Dixon will be the 1st in the queue for the latest model though.

Maybe the driver was asked to collect some plant.

Was he paid wheat(ing) time??

Passed that yesterday, amazing how it kept upright without it looking like there was any damage, kudos to the driver.

Amazing I also saw a chinese fella cycling down the hard shoulder on the M11 southbound just after the A14 split!

Aye, without knowing what exactly happened, done well to keep it upright with minimal damage.

The driver should be bent over silly Billys’ desk and given a good threshing.

Dozy has more than likely grassed him up anyway

There’s a video on Facebook here (not of the crash, just the adtermath): facebook.com/gareth.want.9/ … 4351009355

It’s gone through the barrier, so there’s bound to be some damage to the front and possibly underneath the unit and trailer.

Nice to see H&S
Everyone with Hi viz on just in case

Few years back I got taken by surpise by a queue of traffic at a roundabout and had to take the verge to avoid slamming into the back of something. Managed to style it out with a deft slalom round some road signs, as I still couldn’t scrub enough speed off on the grass. Then just joined the motorway slip road I would have anyway.

Probably saved myself a ten minute traffic queue. I bet everyone in the queue just thought I’d got sick of waiting as by the time I rejoined the tarmac I’d managed to regain my look of composure to a meant to do that nonchalance compared to the man filling kecks in terror look I was sporting at the start. The whole thing was a right emotional roller coaster from ‘I’m going to have a massive crash’ to ‘turned out nice again’ in seconds.
