Hiya 2 of us just dropped into his yard one day having a look, the man was there and asked who we was,
we told him we was into trucks and what we drove(anoraks) the next moment we was shown all around his
collection ā¦the spray shopā¦looked into the garage, the man spent at least an hour with us,
brillant will never forget itā¦I think maybe stan started as a driver at evostick in stafford and then ended
up doing all of their work years laterā¦not 100% sure.
rest in peace stanā¦it was only a couple of years back his mate Ed Weetman passed away.

Only ever going to be 1 way Stan turned up to his own funeral, big turn out and even William Stobart turned up in his helicopter. Sad to hear tho from a friend who works there that although his son Mark has taken over work is suffering, understandable but hope they can pull through!

No Stan Robinson was very much involved in that. I phoned them up years ago when I heard they were looking for drivers but when I asked about the money it was top secret. You donāt have to do much to be a legend these days.
