Suspect it was blocked as theres some structure where the camera is.
On disconnecting, you could in theory but theres the problem of the trailer moving as you unhook then it moving as you hookup. Normally its the brakes and some leg friction which stops it moving. Hookup sideways and it’ll likely push into the building, although not guaranteed of course.
However, if I was going to hookup that sideways, I would check the 5th wheel was only just touching the rubbing plate, pull the release lever and then try it very gently. It might not pull the legs off the ground, but would need a banksman to watch it carefully.

The French rigid…err, how, just how!? I need to find how they got that out, guessing crane?
Argos, I assume thats an oldie as not seen long vehicle on a trailer for years. Perhaps they normally drive a wagon and drag?

That’s what I thought. Looks like the entry/exit to the local nick. Maybe he made a bollox of it and they won’t open the gate to give him another try.
