hi rich have you got any pictures of the ERF in colour the one i put on before was 1 i copied out of a book and fair play to yourselfs and mal it was always kept clean and tidy i remember you having it because you lined it with ply for insulation

Hi Graham i took this a few years ago they were parked in the Pied Piper car park for the night you may know something about them
I worked for Syd up to to him pulling the pin around 1990 that F12 6x4 had been replaced with a Iveco 420 V8 when I worked there but I drove the 4x2 F12 at the side the 6x4 was usually driven by Trevor Syds son. It was a nice firm to work for run by Syd and then Trevor went in the office to help his dad. It was the last time I was made redundant ( 5 times ) in the 80s and only once did I not start work again on the following monday.

Alan I was told a couple of years ago that Trevor as retired which will probably be correct as he is around the same age as me but YOUNGER than CW

Hi Komatsu 450.Is this the ERF you are taking about? Cracking lorry Gardner230,fuller 9 speed,Kirkstall DD.Went really well,the engine was reconditioned by Watts of Lydney with high compression pistons.None of the legendary Gardner smoke on start up.

Can any one remember Newport haulage services ? A small fleet mostly ERFs .One they had was ex Tracey Read of Hereford . Most of thier work was steel regards kk
