are you sure M8, looks like one to me, even with those “bobby hrse” white rims…as Ken with the wireless would say!..I agree with the comment about saving an FH, but they fetch strong money for export, I would think they will be like the F7 / FL10s…wendy houses, all gone when we want one…lets have some pics of project pete…

hi all,
here’s a few snaps i took of a.s.griffiths’ fine fleet.this 141 was the only one alun ever had.

a very smart, always well presented fleet.the 112 on the end was bought brand new in 1983/4.later owned by sid evans.i would love to have the 141 in that colour scheme  .from the first time i saw that truck,i loved it  .

zeebrugge dock in december 1994 waiting for trailers to come in,a370 vtx parked behind, then owned by sid evans,(rip).

pete 359:
hi john,
here’s an ex-smiths motor, sorry about the crap quality  .the scammell highwayman and trailer, she moved thousands of tonnes of coil internally around the abbey with joints.that truck is a world away from your fh’s  .

there was nowt wrong with the Scammell Highwayman a very reliable wagon and un-breakable maybe a tad uncomfortable I reckon they would have broken more drivers will to live than the driver breaking the wagon as there was only one way to drive them SLOWLY

i think this 401 was ex-navy? or was that the mandator it replaced?seen here in jones plant pyle summer 1996.

this 113 was previousley owned by a racing team.
