CARMARTHEN TRUCK SHOW DUE TO BE HELD THIS COMING WEEKEND HAS BEEN CANCELLED, from their website:
This year’s Show, due to take place this Sunday 8th July has been cancelled.
This is due to Health and Safety and Logistical issues, brought about by the very wet weather over recent weeks and an extremely poor weather forecast for the week ahead.
An inspection of the site has indicated it would not be possible to run the main ring events without sustained dry weather during the week ahead. The poor ground conditions would also have affected truck movements, tradestands and other attractions.
The decision to cancel was taken after much consideration of other options and was not taken lightly. All exhibitors, traders, advertisers, sponsors and supporters will each be contacted shortly to discuss their individual situations.
The next Show will be held on Sunday 14th July 2013 and the Show Committee would like to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation.

hiya,
I worked for this fellah a couple of times in the early to mid sixties and to me this
looks like a motor should, this one is well after my time but I’ll bet it went well the
guvnor was a “doctor” when it came to tuning, you must admit it looks like it has
just earned a few bob and the driver was a lad after my own heart and obviously he
needed a map to find the wash and no poncy accutriments silly lamps and airhorns
that rubbish doesn’t help the motor any and as Robbie Killingbeck would have said
it raises the unladen weight.

I think your right, I saw a post saying that,
Hello Cookie_28, the white truck is the new Volvo being tested, the fabric is probably there to try and disguise the new styling before its proper launch.
