Hi all,
A few classic welsh lorries here.A Glyn John Transport Transcon,A Welsh International F86 and finally a shot I watched being taken and was used in the VOLVO truck brochure back in 1974.The driver of GHB 547N was Bob Saunders,he sadly passed away last Saturday at his home in Spain.
Hello Andrew, sorry to hear about Bob`s passing, the last time I met him he was running the café in Bryngarw Park. Another one bites the dust.
Best wishes, Mike

Morning Andrew.
Best bitters son is called Adrian and would be about 61.
He is involved with the porthcawl life boat.i am sure Billy best bitter lived around st davids way.
There was a another old time driver in porthcawl that i can just remember[dennis turton]aka yorkie.
Old hands and perhaps your dad would know early 60,s he drove a 8 wheeler out of the abbey works and a mini with 3 lads in it were flying towards him on the wrong side of the road .it ended up carnage and they all lost their life.
It was not his fault.
The peter, chris 143 is on about was in the driving school.
Dai
