Sorry I haven’t posted much these last few days.though we have now moved house and normal service will be resumed.saw this clode’s shipping f86 on Facebook,not my picture and I have no idea who took it sorry.clodes shipping were as I remember based at Swansea Dock and when I was a young boy they regularly worked with j&m on stormy down.

Great shots of some J.R.'s Atkys Daibach but IMHO the modern JR livery didn’t suit those Atkys,the radiator grille should have been left silver don’t you think ? Cheers Dennis.

Hi Dennis them Atki,s were painted like that they used them for shunting in the abbey ,that pic is one of them they used to put them on a low loader to take them to yard for repairs then take them back.cheers john

The clodes picture belongs to the Clodes family. Mr Clode passed away earlier this year ,his son has the photos ,who in turn loans them to his brother in law who puts them on fb and flickr his flickr page is francis3351. kind regards Ron

All the shunt tractors took a beating if the power steering went you filled it with engine oil or patch up with tape or british steel wrapping paper lol good days back then not like today :frowning:
