i saw this fm near work a few weeks ago.i thought it looked,well,real.a proper working motor.
Looks like one of Neil Parsons artics Andrew, he has a few based at the quarries this way.

the old and the new,courtesy of david jones from pembs.the 112 was new 30 years ago,the red 490 is brand new.
I think David Jones will be upset about coming from pembs, he’s from nantgaredig, his father had a scania 111 before the 112.YBX 90V sold it to John Gregory from Llwynypia.

Hi I only joined 12 hrs ago but in 1963 i was a lorry drivers mate with Joe Priestly and sons Warrington. Ther fleet consisted mainly of Foden 8 wheelers and artics. We did nightly trunck work to and from South Wales and shunted wagons for TSP Transport from Skewen Glamorgan they had a beautiful fleet of 8 wheeled mkv AEC’s fitted with exhaust brakes!!! We also shunted Edwards of Lydbrook 8 wheeled AEC’s but they were the old tin cabed veriety with sliding doors not a pach on the Fodens or TSP wagons. I could go on all day but need to go out while the sun shines.

This was tdw old yard in cwmgwilli the garages still there with the wash bay and ramp I was up there today tipping at adept
Davies got a couple of trucks based up in capstone poultry farm in Milford haven these were parked up also the nice design on the trailer

Yes Harry, I would park the 81 outside with pride. I think that one might been driven by Ronny Hodge or Arthur Pipe rip.
