I saw the video.i bet they are changing the clutch on that fh right now! This firm had some proper drivers,Cardiff transport to me always seemed to be carrying more than most of the others and doing a lot more mileage :laughing: :laughing: that was the job 20 years ago,arguably the fh bridge photo shows were thejob is now…

Thats right they would do Nissan , Sunderland and back to Newport in a day . regards Keith

Hi all I drove the Cardiff ERF brand new I had d75 when I started with them they made their money alright heavy loads all the time 2 scotch 3 north east a week they never got done by vosa cause Brian was clever

Oh how naughty can you get & get away with it I ask you, Well as long as they were getting rightfully rewarded for their effort & didn’t cause any problems to anyone, I would have done the same given the chance to make a few bob to invest for my retirement, Regards Larry.

The last time I saw one of their artics was at Blagdens in Trafford Park, There was Stiller Transport delivering there also I think they were bringing steel plate & coils from Caldicot in South Wales, Of course that was about 8 years ago, Regards Larry.

Courtesy of Ron’s page I found these Bedfords they both belonged to Colin Andrews,crossroads of lougher I passed my test in the sleeper cab on a sat morning. With a tandem axle box on back he sold these trucks to skill place
