Spare engine for a Pete
hiya,
I hated high loads with a vengeance heavy and wide no problems, but high
although in my day would be âroutedâ so no high bridges to worry about
there was always the odd telephone wire crossing the road which needed
the attention of the second man and the âclothes propâ so you didnât drag
the things earthwards my problem was looking out for the âwiresâ which
always gave me a sore neck, maybe it was just me but my neck used to be
sore after a full days driving abnormally high loads about.
thanks harry, long retired.

Hi smallcoal,
Thanks for the details of yet another flickr site rammed full of photos of welsh motors from days gone by.despite being accused of this several times over the years by other members,I have never ever once lifted a photo off Flickr to post on here or anywhere else.tbh I donât understand flickr at all.though I have recently learned this! Facebook sites are full of some brilliant images,if I think any are relevant to our thread,I will ask if I can post them here.when I get no reply at all, that tells me whom ever i have asked on Facebook for permission has usually lifted them off flickr.the Raws flickr site has at least two dozen images that I have seen on Facebook and am still! Waiting for permission to post
P.s. I think? That excellent flickr page is of west Wales based photographer/enthusiast Ron wetherall ?
Regards andrew.
