echo one cracking photo I was mates with him 35 years one of the best had some fun laughs.one night in southern irlande got me in trouble with terrorist police he laughed for days we got up to all sorts he is one guy I really miss I was privelidged for him to go to truckstop in the sky on my 143 scanny. rip. 2 Gardner 180 s under that cab not hard to see how we lost it
Hi all. Andrew and Dai, Maldwyn Davies used to do lots of smokeless fuels to the London area. Mostly coal yards, from the furnace site plant in Mountain Ash/Aberdare.
As well as that Foden he had an Atki Borderer 8 wheeler M reg with a Gardner 180. Last I saw of it was at Ryans in Cardiff painted black on blending duties.

Now if you were a truck manucturer who wanted a new product tested prior to official launch during the 90’s,then you’d be mad not to have asked Cardiff transport,cause did they ever do some work!
Hi Andrew,I don’t think I seen that on the fleet that trailer wasn’t Cardiff trans they never had them it wasn’t joints they borrowed for some reason I can’t see the reg properly can you shed some light cheers mate

cardiff transport were given that prototype ec erf as a seed vehicle.erf continually monitored it’s performance under cardiff transport’s 24/7 intesive work load.they had it for at least 12 months that i can think of.the first time i saw it was one summers night queing for the weighbridge at servo steel stourbridge,i wondered wtf it was

Cheers Andrew thought I not seen it before we made them trucks work the white ERF I brought that back from charlock Richard change over one night loaded with 3 slabs total weight 60 tonnes on the trailer very scary then transferred onto 2 trailers for port talbot
