Hi Andrew, 1617 with a rest cab. But prior to these Ryder Cardiff supplied Bedford TLs with sleeper pods. So the Merc’s were probably an upgrade Lol.

Good to hear off you mate .i remember the Bedford’s, they called them"magic mushrooms" because of their funny look 
a fella from porthcawl drove one on Christine Tyler,I remember seeing it.
with the first steel boys event of 2013 just eight days away,lets have some welsh steel wagons . Starting with…an English one my mate john Bryan owned this f10,amongst one of the last rhd ones built for the uk market.the welsh connection is the f10 is parked on salt lake car park in porthcawl back in 2006.
These few are courtesy of a Facebook friend who drove for merlin distribution in the mid 90’s,running coil between shotton,the midlands and South Wales.
Steve LDV has asked me to help raise awareness of an event he is organising, a Truckers day at CCC c.b. radio and accessories shop on Bedwas house ind est Caerphilly. The event is planned to take place on Sunday 7th April 2013 between 10am and 3pm.
Steve is hoping to get all sorts of truck there, big and small, new and old, working and show. All are welcome just let Steve know on: 07779 987 234.
He is planning to have refreshments available plus a competition with trophies for the trucks. CCC will of course be open on the day for sales and advice.
