the chap in the yellow was a joint’s fitter, malcom davies,about 7 or 8 of us were on hand to clear the carnage.Hi all,
Last Friday at only 59 years of age Malcolm Davies sadly passed away Malcolm a.k.a big bird had spent his working life in the haulage industry and was a very well known popular guy,he was both a fitter and driver for joint motorways for many years,working along side his brothers tony and Paul.malcolm did many trips abroad with joint.i can recall him being sent out to bring back the broken down and damaged motors from all over the uk and mainland europe.tony davies malcolm’s elder brother and joint’s transport manager kindly called into work last saturday to tell me the sad news and agreed to let me post these few words about a good friend who will be remembered fondly by all he once knew r.i.p. malc.
