thanks neil.for posting the photo, had the pleasure of delivering the bride to the wedding on friday then taking the bride and groom to there reception.
hi dai,
good effort mate ,makes a welcome change from all those bloody awfull kit cars they have in weddings now
regards andrew.
Yes Dave, smart colours, I tend to take them for granted in a way as they are five minutes from home and I see them around most days.
They seem to be rather fond of a certain German make don’t they?
I remember going back to the early 90’s when they were based in Crosskeys, just down the road from where they are now, they ran a few makes as well as the older MAN’s, Seddon Atkinsons in Strato and 401’s, a Scania rigid and a Mercedes tow truck.
They have a mk1 ■■■■■■ rally car in their colours too.
Neil.
I see them up through the Leominster to Brecon road quite a bit Neil.As you say they like the M A N’s,but I think thats the way to go,stick with one make if it gives good service.
Cheers Dave.
The females look nice Dennis, who is the driver,he looks like Jack Elam .
Cheers Dave.
grim reaper by looks of it.mind you best kit car i ve ever seen.
Dave he looks nearly as ugly as me
cheers Johnnie
The horse would be about 16 year old when this shot was taken at Appleby on the occaision that the young lady who had driven him in his last race the year before got married. Here’s a shot of the first Scania that carried his name on the fleet, the last one was an R113.he was a tough little Pacer in his time, won me a lot of races in England Scotland and Wales.

hiya,
Just pleased you didn’t waste the signwriters time on a Scania 80 the old hoss would have more pull than one of those things and would no doubt carry more weight.
thanks harry long retired.

Actually “H” I’ve got a confession to make! That grille is on an “T” reg 81 tractor which was new at the time I bought the horse—sorry mate but the truth must be told regardless of who it may upset----To the shelter lads, incoming fire over Stainmore is on it’s way!!! Cheers Dennis.
