Yes I was out driving this week for a change 
Tuesday 1:00pm start Gateshead to Rhein in Germany and tipped 06:00 Wednesday, back to Utrecht for 8 hrs then down to adinkerk for the obligatory ciggies and into Pidou in Calais for the wine etc back to Gateshead for 8.30am Thursday, not bad for being double manned 
Today

Sunday:
4pm start. Load up with Chiquita’s best bananas . Run down to Iceland Swindon for 0600 Monday then Iceland Enfield for 1200.
Monday:
Got my drops off then the wagon started running rough so ran empty up to garage at West Tanfield nr Masham, N Yorks for around 1730. Overnighted in their yard.
Tuesday:
Couple of injectors dead so mechanic went up to injectors refurb place at Stockton twice to sort them out. Finally got back on the road at 1700 after cleaning 5 trailers 
Went down to Retford with my empty trailer and overnighted there.
Wednesday:
Loaded TDG Retford 0700 with meat and went to Perkins on Dearne Valley Way near Barnsley to tip. Back to Chiquita at Dewsbury to drop and swap. Picked up a load for Tesco at Didcot for 1930. Arrived 1930, straight on bay, forkies in the back before I’d put hand-brake on, handed keys in, went to get a coffee, came back, 22 pallets tipped and paperwork signed, ready to go by 1950 
Overnighted in lay-by on A43 nr A5 roundabout.
Thursday:
Run back to Chiquita, drop and swap (took 5hrs for trailer to be loaded). Left there about 1830 for Birmingham Fruit Market, tipped there about 2100, then down the M5 in the snow for Iceland at Swindon for 0600 Friday morning. Overnighted at the top of Birdlip hill.
Friday:
Tip Iceland Swindon about 1000, then down to Iceland Enfield for 1315. Tipped and then empty back to Dewsbury via lay-by on the Parkway, Sheffield for Cool-Chain bloke to have a look at dead fridge. Got back to yard for 2000 
after doing a bit of shopping at ASDA’s 
. All go again Sunday tea-time back to Iceland Swindon and Enfield again 
monday camarthen swansea staff parked car inf ront of loading bay at camarthen took them 25 mins to move the buggers so i moaned to the tm.
tuesday gateshead and sunderland.why does the a1 always have a bloody breakdown on it going past the brewery.over taken thomas the tank engine runnig southbound on the m1.
wednesday back to camarthen and swansea.had another rmoan about staff parking there cars in front of the loading bay …then as i’m tipping at swansea 2 little kids are trying to let the tyres down on me trailer.god bless the little [zb].if i had been 15 years younger i’d have caught them 
thursday back to camarthen and swansea and was so pleased to see the staff hadn’t parked there car’s in front of bay,the bad news was joe public did and[zb]ed of shopping 
.was just about to call the local fed’s when she come back.(didn’t give her a bollocking because she was well tasty 
).then it snowed and come home over the edge of the valley’s(i like a challenge 
)
friday swansea only and boy did i lose it.the night before i asked the tm to put it on a short trailer because it was a ballache to get onto the bay at 17:00 at night .so what does he do send a [zb]ing 40’ .
anyway gets to swansea at rush hour only to find cars parked down one side and a taxi rank with 15 taxi’s in the other side.not only that but as i have to reverse around to the loading bay someone had parked there car on the corner.so completely lost it with the tm and blocked the hole street off until there was enough room to move the taxi’s forward (and they didn’t rush)
hopefully next week will be better

Mon 1/3. Started at 1300. Collected a wagon from Scania after it was repaired.
Tipped a load in Edinburgh at midnight .
Tues, mucked about in the yard for a bit then shipped out from Rosyth.
Wed, started 1030 drove down through La Belle France to Tours.
Thurs, started 0900 drove down to Irun for !st drop, then down Spain to Zaragoza.
Fri, Down to a bit south of Valencia to tip the rest of my load. 1 reel of paper (2.5 tonnes) was rejected and had to come all the way back. Up to Chiva to try and collect the 1st part of my reload, too late.
Sat, back to the warehouse but no good, no loading on Saturday so an hour north to Simba’s hotel/truckstop for the W/E.
Mon 7/3. An hour back to Chiva for that collection (no probs this time). Back up north past Simba’s for another 3 collection finishing at Onda. Then up and across on the N232 for Zaragoza (what an amazing road ).
Tues, Heading back North for home . Stopped at the Cabbage Patch (BP a bit north of Bordeau).
Wed, Up to Cherbourg and onto the ferry for Poole.
Thurs, Down to Newton Abbot for the first tip, then Cardiff, Swansea and Aberdare. Got a bit of snow up on the Heads of the Valleys .
Fri, Over to Peterborough for a load to home . Up to The Punch Bowl for the night.
Sat. Home. Yea Ha.
