Your grand farther was part of a generation that stood up to be counted when the world was going to pot, and they just don’t make them like that anymore. The people who arrived in the back of the truck would not have been from Poland I would suggest Syria or Afganistan but I can’t be sure and they are all male? So they are not fleeing the fighting or the tyrannical despots in thier country’s and for all we know they could be ISIS members.
Your grandfather and many others from occupied Europe came here and indeed to other free country’s so they could continue the fight against hitler in an attempt to free thier homeland not to get a free house and send money home for their wives.

If we haven’t got ‘our own house’ in relatively much better order why is it that the East Euros and all the rest want to come here and all the other Anglo Saxon based societies and economies like Oz and Canada etc,rather than stay at home.

What some people don’t realise, is the Somalis, Afghans and Syrians etc, are entering illegally. And although the U.K. don’t kick them out, they don’t let them work either. So they end up on housing benefit and the like, whilst often finding cash in hand work, usually in the local car wash, restaurant trade or any other cash turnover businesses. So it’s an attack on the economy on 3 fronts. Individual benefits, lack of wage taxation, and these cash businesses not paying tax on the cash they’re paying them
The land of milk and honey has 2 fronts. And whilst I have no problem with the sentiment of the EE workers (although the rates they can work for are an issue), the other front that the middle easterns take, is one that desperately needs addressing

I don’t think it’s that people “can’t be bothered” with these jobs, more that it just isn’t possible to pay western European living costs on eastern European wages. All of the places where eastern Europeans work on masse had a predominantly indigenous workforce just 15 years ago, I doubt that the fundamental nature of the local populations has changed so much in such a short space of time.

Let me guess you’d be one of the first to play the race card if the indigenous population made similar ( arguably more justified ) generalised derogatory comments about the immigrant population.Bearing in mind that,as I said,they generally move here,among other Anglo Saxon based societies,because we’ve made a better job of building those societies than they’ve been able to make of their own.

we are to soft in the uk ,it must be possible to get every household in the uk to get them to vote for us to allow entry to them or not with those who want them to stay can fund them with there tax code to change, and those on benifits who want them to stay would have a deduction in there benifits,woulnd be to hard as my tax code changes without to much hassle,i know which way id vote
