Are you going to Gaydon Tony.We went last year,thought it was an excellent show with all the older lorries there.I did enjoy Oswestry yesterday,as you say the F88’s and the F10/12’S were nice motors,as was the older Scania’s.I’m always surprised there aren’t many older Daf’s at the shows ie the 2800 and that era.

It was a toss up between gaydon and swansea and swansea won ! I also want too have a drive over the Beacons for a bit of nostalga . Tony

Its a shame that Gaydon and Swansea are on the same weekend.Strange that Swansea has clashed with Gaydonn,as Andrew and a lot of the South Wales boys will be at Gaydon on the Steel boys run.

Hi Dave no they are on different weekends Swansea is on 11/12 of june and the swansea one is on a week later on 19 of June. But I can only aford to go too one of them becuse the petrol prices are so high . So Swansea it is hopefully go to gaydon next year .Tony

I shan’t make the 19th Tony,if it had been a two day event,possibly have made the Saturday.As you say the fuel makes it more expensive to go to places,also we have a weeks holiday booked for the end of June.
Will try and get to Carmarthen when that’s on,and Hereford if they have theirs,both aren’t to far from here.
As for your your earlier post,saying my pictures are better than yours.I don’t take them,Tracy my partner is the camera person.Your pictures are fine,keep them coming.

Hi thanks for that we went into shed but only saw couple of corgi stalls and sweets etc and went back out again looking foward to gaydon as missed it last year cheers ian

Hi Dave tell Tracy she is good with the camera ! I have got a camera with 2 megapixle which by new standards is very small. I have started taking pictures with my Blackberry that i had for my birthday . That has a 2 megapixle camera built in . So I always have a camera in my pocket . Its amazing now what phones can do .The only trouble is that it doesn’t have a flash so its no good in doors. Any way back too the lorries have you any idea when the Hereford truck show will be on ? I am putting some pictures on here with one of my favorite trucks the Volvo F88/9. Like they say in cafe’s now enjoy ! Tony
