No spare wheel, just the liquid repair.

Hate that!! Last year my good lady wife hit something in the road and split a tyre open. Rang Mercedes and they got RAC out. They put a temp wheel on, she drove it to the main dealer in Sunderland, RAC took their wheel back and put the punctured wheel back on and left her there, this was six o’ clock on the Thursday evening. Didn’t get the car back until Monday tea time.

His wheels have only been on 5 minutes lol, it’s the cars first service.

I did a Google trucknet search as it’s called now as the whole site is based on that
Results
Check lubricants
Check brake pads
Check battery
Check filters
In my opinion you got a bargain price in comparison to a petrol or diesel car
Well done saving yourself hundreds of pounds

The 2nd service is much the same as the first service with just visual checks & any software updates.
These MG ZS EV’s need a software update to use the Tesla supercharger network, A lot of owners have been having connection problems between the car & the Tesla charger, It’s free of charge to have the update.
The 3rd service requires the battery pack coolant to be flushed out & renewed along with the brake fluid.
As for brake pads & discs on the Gen 1 MG ZS EV I had prior to this one, they were still almost as new on the 3rd service & it’s 1st MOT.

Don’t know about other main dealers but Sytner Mercedes “technicians” take a video as they do all the checks, showing all tyre tread depths , brake pad and suspension condition etc. The video is then sent on to the vehicle owner.

If you use the tyre sealing stuff the tyre is then scrap even if it could have been repaired.

Richmond MG Portsmouth and Bognor Regis do that

A three litre Viva.

Not mine but some of you will be interested.

I had a video of the condition done on the 3rd service prior to the first MOT of my last MG ZS EV.

Fabulous condition, They’re a tad better than this guy’s Viva restoration I’ve been following for a year or so.

I only use my home charger as furthest I go now a days is work

My C300 is apparently a “mild hybrid “. I have no idea what that actually means, but my dash told me on a recent 150 mile trip I allegedly received 35 “free” miles.

Same here, I’ve never used a public rapid charger in over six years, I can easily get by with the range of the car, I have my concessionary travel pass & use bus & train regular to go into towns. It’s on charge now to top up on the British Gas half price five-hour peak-save Sunday’s along with all the laundry.

They had Holden but they bought Toyotas. The Australian mindset.

 They, being who?
There have been no Holdens for seven or eight years. Your point is whhat?

Interesting, but he can be frustrating. I wish he would finish one thing at a time and stop wasting time and effort mucking around with worn out rubbish. Do it right, do it once.
Thanks for the link.
