hiya,
Yeh those Ergo sheds did tend to corrode a bit usually while you was looking at them.
thanks harry long retired.

A colleague who remebered that lorry working saw an ergo cab tilt, and fall off due to the tinworm

I re-call that Nelsons of Arnside had a new Marshal when they came out and early on in its life the cab tilted with the driver sat behind the wheel,he had a lucky escape as it nearly cut him in two! cheers Dennis.

I tilted a Mandator cab one day and it just kept going, windscreen goosed, what a mess.no chance of getting it back on me own.

Cheers Phil.

I don’t remember the livery on that Volvo, yet have carried MDi. The tanks were normally brown to prevent staining and to identify them easily.

Local delivery and collection around Huddersfield and London. The big drawbar outfits did the night trunking and the small Karriers did the distribution and collections.

Now that brings back some memories, 8 wheel Thornycroft, I used one with a 3500 gallon tank on in the 60’s, Thornycrofts own engine and gearbox, great machine.
