Hi Bubbleman and all - don’t get much chance to look here these days but there’s ALWAYS something.
The Langdon’s Scania with the J4MJM number plate a couple of pages ago was my old primary school buddy from 50-odd years ago Max Merlich. I met him with that very rig at the Truckfest at the Bath and West Show site years ago and he fell on me like we were old soldiers!
One for Flourpower.
The setting sun didnt improve the colour of this.
Reversing onto a Greek ferry.
Cheers Phil.

Hiya… this show photo is perhaps indecating the disc brake that ERF introduced in the 60,s
the truck is one of AH Daveys and i think the next one to the Daveys truck was also bound for a Stoke costomer
great photo…The Disc idea did,nt work i think the pads needed more development. drums was then
fitted under warrenty…The black and red lorry looks like it could be a sabrina cab(bonneted) IICR a KV14.
someone at REV,s will know
John

The Lynam Price Foden above was driven by my father in law, it looks very much like him driving with a big beard, when I see him at the weekend I will ask him!
Regarding the John Phillips posting. Yes John is still running mostly ran by the son still doing the fridges and one tipping trailer John sen. still does the odd change-over I saw him a couple of weeks ago heading away late afternoon he certainly never let his disability hold him back I remember him starting out in the early 70’s with a Leyland Terrier which were otherwise known as Bathgate Scanias he had a Ford Dseries 4wheeler then onto Volvo86s and has run Volvo ever since.Eddie.

Hi Kevmac47. I made that comment about 10 pages ago! Nothing to do with Adams DAF pic. Did you add that Quote by mistake?.
