Thanks Mark loved the ole 110 remember them tilts they had a few of them with tower shipping on used to be based at Ratcliffe Cross Wharf down the Highway Stepney and the other tilts they had were in Speedex Shipping colours and the fridges were chrome with Alltransport on . I ■■■■■■■ me self her t them fodens no good now only half half a sunvisor 1 spotlight on the roof Ibet he was a right bundle of laughs to work for go with your dad in the holidays there grow up to be a a wing walker

I remember seeing that low cab Foden and thinking that it may be the future, extra load space and all, and that I didn’t like it. I knew I would miss being able to see all around me from my high cab. :unamused:

Hi bubbleman, blimey, great selection again, top man!

I remember McHayes, didn’t they come from Norfolk way? I met one of their drivers called Terry (I think) in Italy once, I then heard a rumour that he lost control coming down the Blanc at the “wall of death”, I never found out the result. Are they still going? They had some decent kit, a Magnum too if I recall.

thanks bubbleman for the maudslay pic stick a second steer on that and an old matching trailer i’ll do london trunk tonight i’m going back fifty one years and it only seems like yesterday just twenty one i must have been one of the youngest eight wheeler and drawbar drivers in the uk, thanks harry long retired.
