I’ll probably get into trouble for posting these gems but that’s what you get for posting pics on the web! All pictures were taken from the Forestry Memories web site. Any comments or information would be welcomed.
The picture of the two A & F Grants Fodens is stunning

Hi Sniffy, I am fairly sure I have some photos in a Foden magazine from the mid 1970s in my collection on my loft. I will look them out in due course, unfortunately confined to ground level at the moment due to a knee operation.
Cheers, Leyland 600

Thanks Leyland600, I’ve been given the T.Cooks family album so will post some of the logging photos when i get chance to scan them, was wondering about staring a thread for them as they had logging trucks, tippers, mixers as well as a milk fleet in later days. Apart from the album I’ve never seen any other photos on the net before. I was hoping there were some around to add to the album for them

Great photos on here.
I’m originally from the Scottish Borders where I drove trucks for the best part of 22 years and now live in Tasmania. Our yard was next door to JT Snowie who was hauling wood at the time in the 70’s 80’s. I still do a bit of driving here, and on the odd occasion I also do logs.
I have another thread on here called " Photos of trucks from Australia and Tasmania." Plenty of logging photos there to look at, and loads more to come.
