Is the best answer not to just have the 3 serries streamline doors that covered the steps!!!

After all we are in the “save the polar bears” era and if the idea does indeed reduce drag then really they should be trying to promote it along with the rubber air kit extensions…
Scania probably looked at the number of their trucks with at least 10 after market spotlights bolted on to the front right in the airstream and thought ‘‘why the ■■■■ do we bother’’ 
Got to admit i do think that sometimes myself, these folk that bolt 10 spotlights the size of frying pans up on the roof have no right to moan about the price of diesel.
