Scania interior styling

Ref those white steering wheels from the ‘70s, really cannot fathom why someone would go to the trouble of relocating all the many function buttons we have on the original wheel, placed there after much R&D by the manufacturer, which, in my case at least are in almost constant use, cruise control, retarder downhill descent, volume etc, to be fiddling with them down at arms reach where the cup holder once was! Really beggars belief. I have a table in mine but nothing on it, only flat paperwork, but the I pad lives there once parked. It is pretty well camera’ed up so no blind spot issues there.

Depending on the age of the vehicle that may not be legal…no front mirror that looks directly down the front of the vehicle.

I like to have a high seating position, I’d not be able to drive that vehicle because I’d barely be able to see 10ft in front of me.

If you were to see some of the stuff running around Rungis you soon realise that legality is well down the list of priorities

You lose all the function buttons but you do have a nice horn button in the middle with the truck logo of your choice.

Not cheap at 475 euros plus tax from an NL site.

This would give me a headache.

It’s called the Dutch style movement

You’ve not driven a craptros then? :open_mouth:

Thanks for putting up the DVSA link, Franglais.
