This is Wayne Bloomfield’s, from Harleston. He used to run with Wayne Leggett pulling mainly out of Ipswich, not sure what either of them are up to now. He’s had it from new though, it replaced a standard R-cabbed Scania in similar colours.

Couple of questions -This orange one, I saw this at Felixstowe docks a couple of years ago and at that point the ‘530’ badge has been replaced with a ‘720’ one - anybody know if it’s been chipped or indeed has it been changed back?
Carrying a 530 badge these days
please do not get this lovely motor mixed up with another orange topline thats also on containers out of felixstowe, this truck is a 144 530, the other is a tatty 124 470 thats had the badge numbers swapped to 144 720 (all same numbers used) easiest way to tell them apart is the twin h/light conversion and the lower kelsa bar on the 530.

no mate thats had the same done regarding a 470 badge into a 720 but thats red not orange!!! the orange 1 has got blue stripes on the side 4 square spots built into the bottom grille and straight through pipes up the back of the cab.

Taken quite a few photo’s of your old mans motor. Must do a regular trunk up to Lichfield in the evening, hadn’t noticed the plate before!

yeah thats the 1 mate, thats no 720 fella, yeah my dad’s firm do regular runs for tnt and esab (thats the double decker), i’m not sure exactly where they go…i’d like to see some more of it if you’ve got some mate.
