I think you blokes must have had a bad run with your wheels. I spent a while working as a fitter on road trains and we never had any dramas with Spyder hubs,the same go’s with trucks and trailers here in NZ. Once fitted we would re-check them after a few K’s,but the ‘Cleats’ would keep tension on the nuts preventing them from coming loose. I think they are a good thing,quick and easy to change and lighter to handle.

Where is Peter these days? I did a few runs for Peter to Algeria etc in a clapped out F10- wonderful going over Mont Cenis with peaches!. I first met him in Turin when he was on for Sammy Williams.
Thats when I first new him from Sammys Harry with Tommy Collins and them I havent seen him for ages now I was with mr ken 16 years and it was before that love those turkish wheel trims (If your reading this Ken bet your drooling over them trims lol ) last time i saw Peter was at Dagenham with Johnny Dodge both had 140s
