One for @spardo to chew on😉

Not sure why, the driver looks familiar, but I never drove a FIAT and the Stanton pipes I often carried were never stacked like that.

A Latil fleet.

Bit of an odd design, regarding the headlamps, on this “Italian” Unic.

Really strange indeed, because I had never heard Unic trucks had been sold in Italy. At that time, Fiat probably already owned Unic.

Probably the law says that headlamps must be lower in Italy than in France. Behind the RHD Unic is its Fiat competitor.

Another “unusual” design, in this case Spanish.

Crikey! That’s a new on on me. An oddly stylish locally built Spanish cab on what appears to be a KV era LHD ERF. It has even retained the wrap-round windscreen and radiator grille of the Kleer-vue KV cab. Spot the semaphore indicators and the weeny mirrors. I notice it is a sleeper cab!

Definitely unusual, but nothing beautiful with it.

this must be one of those narrow-guage outfits favoured by the Swiss

The oval wheels wouldn’t have been favoured by the drivers.

I hope this fits.

Thanks for this most interesting document! A few gorgeous shots of parisian traffic, one with a 2 CV overtaking other cars. I love the way Paul Berliet’s name is pronounced!

I doubt I do any better.
Ber-i-ley?
