Hi Fergie this picture has traits of Mappo, that Volvo belonged to a local shunter out of Le Havre and never went further than Paris ha ha, just like the afore mentioned colleague of ours, Buzzer.
Hi John, hope you and the family are well…Well, I guess even that’s over the top for Tony, looks more like something from the Indian continent than Le Harve…

Anyone looking for the best 4x4 by far…
Next time you pass it Whippersnap, offer him a grand for it…Land Rover are buying them up, refurbishing them and selling them on, they’ve just paid a friend of mine £18000, for an S1…you can split the profit with me when we meet up…

Blimey! That’s worth stopping for then eh… if I’d known that they were doing that in Solihull I would have bought the one owned by me grandad…was given the chance to do so some years ago, only problem was he’d lost the paperwork of it…and that would cause some proper bollocking bringing it back home and trying to get a reg. on it…
Oh well, hindsight and all…

I think you will find that LR are only interested in the older Series 1 models. The pic looks like a Series 3, much later. But I understand that anything in reasonable condition (particularly 90s and 110s)that was manufactured at least 25 years ago (and if you can absolutely prove that to be the case) can be sold for a fair price in the US though. So keep looking…

Never knew Giraud operated Bussings…
Hey Ferge, at a time Giraud was a Büssing and bonneted trucks man, they drove the bonneted models too, later Scania and Volvo before Daf came.
Eric,
Hi Fergie
Elliotts of York!
Here a LS 11 Bùssing dating 1965, from the Giraud fleet ,probably when delivering some wine in England. Excuse me for the poor picture.

I’m glad you were brave enough to ask that question Rigsby, if I was the one asking I would be in for some proper bollocking…again…
Now, I’ve found sommat that would fit quite nicely with mentioned gentlemen…
No need to thank me Fergie, I’m just keeping an eye out for me older brethren…
What’s the story of this “bull nose” Berliet then? More powerfull engine fitted?
Colleague of mine picked this up the other day in France, it’s destinated for a war museum in Holland
