Well today is shaping up better than yesterday.
Just two minutes ago got a call from Number 1 son to say he passed his C+E a couple of minutes ago with only 2 minors. He tried to move away in 7th once and that is two minors apparently, control gears and moving away under control or something. Trained Thursday and Friday afternoon and a couple of hours this morning before the test and he strolled it. Number 2 son is booked in for his with the same guy first week of February. Happy days.
Congrats to your boy mate, I hope you’ve passed your extensive experience onto him? How to correctly handle hot cooking vessels etc.

My Saturday is yet to reveal it’s plans for me. Midnight till about 8am was uneventful, then slept till just before 12.
Plenty of time for it to go wrong yet though …

I took a retest at Pete Smythe’s on a Saturday. It costs extra for a Saturday test but yes it is possible

Cheers. Number 2 son got less minors on his car test than number 1, in fact he didn’t get any, and also less on his C test so he is going for the hat-trick but Number 1 has set the bar quite high today.

Probably safest to assume from about 20:00 that the keyboard is being used while under the influence and treat all my posts accordingly, but I will have a 30-minute break before exceeding 6 hours.
