Sanmar

If i remember rightly they had a lot of trouble with the ministry and it all went pear shaped in the early 90’s.
They had some nice high powered motor’s towards the end, i can remember the; 2048 merc powerliner’s they were running at the time.

when i lived in barnsley a few friends used to work for sanmar,they used to do more hours without card than with one.

i worked for them also and the later version silver birch. driving around with S B on your door bought the usual silly bugger or words to that effect :smiley:

yep more off the card than on the card. but money was always in the bank on a friday. 1 of em ended up with taylor barnard at felixstowe in the office cant remember his name used to be a ski instructor. the rest of the family opened a resturant in spain some where someone will know.

martin moss went to live in tenerife and opened a resturant but apparently he’s skint.

anyone of the old sanmar drivers remember john who wrote one of the mercs off he ran into a transporter parked in a layby & ripped the axles off his truck.
