It is a Stoke reg, could be ex Davey’s.
A friend of mine, his dad drove for S Jones in the 70s, had a blue B-Series ERF tipper trailer in yhe livery of Federated scrap… Can’t remember his 1st name but his last name was Andrew, black guy…

Sure he used to park on the owl and ■■■■■ cat pub car park on melton rd opposite Thorn lighting, and another one used to park on the old riverside club car park which is no longer there on middleton st, leics…
His lad now drives for Widowsons… And another one drives for S&J of Melton…

yes i ran into farmer wen he was on sutton mick from black country went wiv im and smosher smith ,struglin to remember micks last name ,remember he didnt stand fools easily ,if anbody remembers his last name ,he fell out with suttons and i dont know where he ended up,joe gun was never gona av a hard life was he , 
The best thing about S Jones was the drivers nicknames, when you met them for the first, you already knew about them, from other drivers description of them.
The original Stig was probably the easiest recognised. (of the dump) And you just knew Jenklene John was going to have an easy life

my god wheel nut you really know the drivers of sammy,s mate ,trouble wiv em giving nicknames i never really knew the real names ,and as much as i try i cant remember them ,but the faces will be in my memory forever ,great days indeed ,sorely missed
