Dude I know bmws I know a 320 will not do 140 they only have 150hp and weigh like 1300kg, a 325 may do 140 but you’d need a flaming long runway to get to that.

Dude.pmsl, you were probably still in nappies when I had my first of many BM M series, but I must bow to the greater knowledge that it takes to rip around and around shredding tires.Whoopee, you must be an egg spirt !! :unamused:

I had a Fiat Panda that would do 70, beat that girls.

I had a Mini 850 that would go up Crystal palace Hill in first gear - Is that better??

No mention of what it is, is there?

Jumped the gun?

Lower profile tyres without increasing rim diameter and maintaining rolling circumference makes boys toys seem fast and increases bar bragging rights, usually backed up by dodgy video of speedo…

Back to that drifting video, WTF is it with drifting? The slowest way to get round a corner whilst doing the maximum carnage to a set of Johnny No-Grip tyres? The actual road speed with all the dramatic tyre screeching is less than a Reliant would achieve.

drifting isnt about getting round te track the quickest, ill admit a lil chavvy saxo could probably beat me around that track in a straight line if as opposed to me drifting it. but i was doing 70 around that first corner on my first lap of a track id never been on in a car that before the trackday hadnt driven more than a couple hundred feet.

also its the most fun you can have while destroying tyres, though we recycle tyres untill they are properly dead eg you know those folk who go collect tyres with trucks well we have a source with them and usually take a couple of hundred good tyres off them every 3 months (this is between about 6 of us) Ill find out in a week and a half how many tyres ill go through as when its wet i go through none but my mate with the same car has done 40 on one day.

as for my local track (as teesside is quite far away) at Crail even stupid wee diddys in subarus and evos cant beat us around there, hell one gimp thought it would be a good idea to bring an impreza to a drift day…idiot couldnt even beat a 200hp sierra

but just some more for you to annoy all you old people.ill act like a holligan with a car

no need to try and get round the swear filter, i know your talking garbage, if an e46 320 can do 140+ they wouldnt have bothered making a 325/328/330 now would they if its that flaming good.

and a funny thing is he probably wouldnt even know the difference between an e36/e39/e38/e21/e92/e46 is without going onto google…thats how much you know

  a 320 do 140 kph real speed out of one of them poor mans BMW is more like 115 mph , I had one and it was a gutless piece of over priced junk masquerading as a quality car  I had a 525 diesel estate and that was quicker .

Anyways I had a Honda MT5 that would struggle to top 35 mph.

LOL I had an MB5.

My Hillman Hunter did 72 mph and I drifted that into a lamp post on a round about and I did cry like a

That’s funny as I had quite a rare UK model Impreza and I drifted that into a tree and a rather insane speed. I didn’t cry because only the day before I was dwelling on the fact that car was destined to kill me. I won that battle, ■■■■ you Impreza. I must say it was a ■■■■ fun car for the 5 days I owned it.

I have never beaten a car yet , although nowadays its financial hits with them that leave me crying like a girl

I’d like to think I’m older and wiser with the Cooper S, or Mrs Mini as I’ve called her, but I still have the odd occasion when I seem to leave my brain behind when I get into her. I actually think she’s even more insane than the Impreza.

Mrs Mini wont kill ya , front wheel drives behave little better in times of panick, just floor it ! Although I wont take responsibility for that advice if it goes ditch hopping :open_mouth:

It made it louder. Was fun when I had no front brakes . Used it for weeks on the rear! :sunglasses:

Thats where I went wrong with the Subaru. 4x4s don’t handle like front wheel drives. So I lost it and effectively accelerated straight into a tree. I can vouch for the strength of a Subaru body
