went through these roadworks earlier this week… 10mph with Convoy car “to protect our workforce”…Only thing I saw in the coned off lane was a convoy vehicle !
Why bother using a car to hold everyone up when the only thing its protecting is the car itself
There were loads on it last Friday.Tarring squads and loads of tar lined up.
In that case I can understand it but when theyve finished for the day why keep the 10mph speed limit with a convoy car 
the new tarmac looks hardly run on ,had they just finished swapping lanes may be ,ready to start on the other
Possible I suppose but it was about half 2 and there were no other workers to be seen anywhere (unless they were hiding in the bushes 
)
