i lived in meadowbank (the village you go past ) and never in 15 years did that road need gritting so seeing as it is in salt unions yard it is definately driver error and not ice
I loaded coal out of seven sisters colliery early doors on a very frosty morning, came through the wheel wash ( god knows why they felt the need to have it on at - 3 
) touched the brakes and slid all the way down to the weighbridge coming to rest about an inch short of the barrier 
my arse was twitching like a rabbits nose that morning

Yes i am lucky, but i had overtaken the tractor before said vehicle was in view. Im sorry if it caused the driver upset and for that i do appologise,
